🎮 Make Your First Obby Game in Roblox Studio!

Welcome to KidsKod! In this fun episode, we're going to teach you how to build your very own Obby (that’s short for “obstacle course”) in Roblox Studio — step by step. Even if you've never coded before, don’t worry — it's easy, creative, and super fun!

🎬 In This Episode, You'll Learn How to:

  • ✅ Open Roblox Studio
  • ✅ Add parts and platforms
  • ✅ Move & scale your blocks
  • ✅ Anchor them so they don’t fall
  • ✅ Add a SpawnLocation so your player spawns in the right spot
  • ✅ Test your own game like a real developer!

🧱 Step-by-Step Obby Building Guide

1. Open Roblox Studio

Click on the Obby template or start a new Baseplate. This is where all your fun begins!

2. Add Blocks

Use the "Part" button to add blocks. These will be your jumping platforms! Want a Preppy pink block or a rainbow Backpack power-up? You can style them however you want!

3. Move & Scale

Use the Move and Scale tools to shape your blocks. Make some wide, others tiny — perfect for a tricky Roadblock!

4. Anchor Your Parts

Don’t let your blocks fall when the game starts! Select each part and click “Anchor” in the Properties window.

5. Add a SpawnLocation

Drag in a SpawnLocation so your character spawns on the first platform — not in the sky or off the map!

6. Test Your Obby

Click the Play button and test your game. Did you fall through? That’s okay! Even bad builds help us learn. Try again and improve like a real coder!

🌟 Bonus: Theme Your Obby!

  • Hello Kitty Obby: Add cute pink blocks and hearts!
  • Dress to Impress: Create a fashion runway jump zone!
  • Fortnite-style: Make fast action levels with bounce pads!
  • Minecraft theme: Use blocky textures and pixel art!

📚 Learning While Playing

Roblox is more than a video game — it teaches logic, design, and creativity. And yes, we all love to play with our favorite toy avatars — even adding a dragon or cat friend who jumps with us!

⚠️ Ban Alert: Stay Safe Online

Sometimes, players get a ban for using bad language or breaking the rules. Be kind, be cool, and play safe so your game stays online for everyone!

🎨 Creative Extras

Design your Obby with a coloring page first. Draw the platforms, obstacles, and even the costume your avatar wears — that’s right, you can dress up in costumes and show off your flair!
